The Model FL machine is a midrange portable machine designed for maintenance and reconditioning of gate, parallel slide, globe, check, safety, and control valves, discs, and wedges.
The Model FL machine is designed to work with valves with flat seats, with a diameter of 50 - 300 mm (2” - 12”). The machine is equipped with individually driven grinding heads that provide perfectly flat seats, ensuring an absolutely flat sealing surface. The machine operates using an air drive unit that operates at 6 - 7 bar, and it has a variable grinding speed on all drive units. The machine comes with a mounting plate for grinding discs and wedges and is supplied with a rough, medium, and fine grinding discs.
The Model FL machine comes with a heavy-duty carrying/storage case that stores the complete machine and all necessary accessories. Self-adhesive grinding discs are supplied with the machine for quick attachment to the grinding heads. These discs are available in 40 to 1000 grit. The machine also has optional extras such as an electric drive unit, extended grinding heads, very thin section driving heads, grinding heads for angled seats, and diamond grinding discs.
