Flexible Drive Equipment - Heavy Duty Bench Grinding
The K.F.D. Flexible Drive Equipment has been well proven and has become well know for its rugged efficiency, ease of use and versatility for labour intensive heavy duty bench grinding, filing, lapping and polishing operations. It is ideally suited for today's needs in engineering workshops, toolrooms, laboratories, laboratory workshops, die and mould shops, etc.
Electric Motor: Heavy duty motor with high torque, even at low speeds. Robust construction for long and continuous service giving quiet running and vibration free operation. Maximum speed, 22000 rpm. Input 230V. Power outpit - 300WFlexible Drive Shaft: High flexibility and resistant to looping and twisting with double ball races at the tool holder end. A slip joint is provided for the attachment of handpieces for rotating tools and also the Diprofil hand filing machine
Foot Control: Built in variable speed, 0-22000 rpm with increased torque at low speeds
Bench Stand: Simple to use variable height adjustment with free moving centre fulcrum, providing infinietely variable drive positioning
TH-SZ
The TH-SZ, straight handpiece, drives a large variety of rotating tools, lightweight for easy manipulation with a ball race front and rear. The TH-SZ is supplied with 1/8" and 3/32" diameter collets. (1/4", 2.35mm, 3mm and 6mm diameter collets are available).
VTN Handpiece
A right angle drive unit for slot and recess preparation. The head can be readily swivelled and telescopically extended. Supplied with 1/8" and 3/32" diameter collets. (1/4", 2.35mm, 3mm and 6mm diameter collets are available).
VTN-S Handpiece
Similar to VTN, but larger construction without swivelling or telescopic facility. A 1/4" diameter collet is supplied as standard. (1/4", 2.35mm, 3mm and 6mm diameter collets are available).
