Kemet are one of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain

Recently put together by the London Stock Exchange, the report covers 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain, celebrating some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. The report examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy.

The criteria for these 1000 companies requires them to have shown growing revenue in the past four years, and to have outperformed their sector peers either by growth in employee numbers, work space occupied or number of filed patents.

The research by the London Stock Exchange, and many other organisations, shows that mostly these companies have generated new, net job creation in the UK since the financial crisis.
