Process for cleaning coins:

The coin was placed in the tank and run for a cycle of 5 minutes, after a quick inspection you can see the coin has brightened up and the majority of the oxidation has been removed. The coin was cleaned for a further 5 minutes, Then placed in the rinse tank for 3 minutes to ensure a thorough clean removing any debris and left on cleaning agent that could stain or etch the coin. Finally the coin was dried using a hot air dryer set at 65°C for 5 minutes. Note: Both coins were processed separately with the exact same process above.
